Sabine Glen
With over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sabine Glen has solidified her reputation as a Master Aesthetician. Not only has Sabine renowned for her professionalism and meticulous work, but she is loved by her clients for her warmth and for creating a beautiful space in which they feel at home. Her background is a colourful one, filled with continuous education.
Hailing from Germany, she moved to South Africa with her family in 1985. Upon Completing Education at Michael Mount Waldorf School, Sabine completed the two-year Camelot Health & Beauty Treatment course. She furthered her education year upon year, with the highlights including the following:
- CIBTAC and BABTAC Accredited
- PCASA Qualified Member of PMU
- Advanced Aesthetics
- Qualified in Meso and laser therapy, peels, Beauty therapy, Slimming, Eyelash Extensions since 2005
Sabine continues her training annually in specialist fields, making her one of the most sought-after industry leaders and thought-leaders.
Her first salon opened its doors in 1994 and this successful salon remained at ISJON House for nine years before she moved to her own premises in October 2003. 1997 saw her open another salon at the PROTEA HOTEL MIDRAND, exclusively as services for the BA crew staying at the hotel. She acquired an impressive number of practical hours and qualification in pigment implantation.
As a professional in South Africa, one of Sabine's passions has been making beauty options available for the full spectrum of South Africa's rainbow skin tones. Similarly, Sabine is devoted to collaborating with industry professionals and of course, empowering women to not only start their businesses in the beauty industry but expand and grow through the in-person and online training courses that she offers.
With her years of experience in Permanent Makeup, Beauty and Skincare treatments, Lash and Brow artistry and so much more - as well her determination to collaborate and empower professionals in her industry - it's no wonder that clients travel from around the world to pay her salon her visit whenever they are able to.
Dr Hawa
I am Dr Zeenet Hawa from Zimbabwe, more commonly known as Dr Zee. I qualified as a dental surgeon in 1998 in Cape Town. I have always wanted to follow my passion of enhancing peoples beauty and so the merge of both Dental and Medical Aesthetics seemed inevitable.
Before becoming a Dentist, I explored family dental practices and the aesthetic appeal of their medical setting drew me to becoming a dentist. Shortly after attaining my Bachelor of Dentistry, I married the boy next door literally. We were blessed to have three kids despite the struggle of not having any for several years.
My run in with Sabine was in my opinion, fate. I purchased a hair removal laser machine many years back and then bought an electrolysis machine to get rid of stubborn hairs from Sabine. Sabine then offered for me to do a few Aesthetic sessions at her rooms in Midrand.
I have always wanted my own product line. I completed the American Aesthetic Diploma among many other Aesthetic courses. Things came to a halt with the challenge of my daughter's Leukaemia which has been my life's greatest lesson. Fortunately she is in remission and my desire to pursue all things beauty can continue.
I then recently provided a few treatments at Sabine's in Kyalami, together with offering Dermapen and Plasma training. I will also be offering further training courses in future. I am excitedly in the process of attaining my product range.
I just recently completed an Orthodontic course with Dr Adams, but due to Covid, the practical side of it was a bit of a haze. I assist on occasion to further my practical knowledge. This together with Myobrace and Clear Aligners is all so complimentary.
I believe that both Sabine and I are a winning combination, as Sabine says it, " I am the business woman and Dr Hawa the brains that we need to expand, progress and transform."

Tai Slabbert
I have an appreciation for a variety of art styles and enjoy a space where I am given the opportunity to interoperate and apply a unique touch or flare to a base or idea that a client may have in mind. My unique depiction and inter-operation is influenced by my 14 years of experience in the industry.
I found interest in art and more specifically drawing from a very young age, and quickly found my inspiration and fascination in the ability to apply a designed piece of art to skin as a medium. Creating art on a skin medium with a meaning or significance to the individual or client is fulfilling and satisfying as this in my opinion allows the individual a means of self-expression or display of their personal uniqueness.
My goal is to provide my client with a safe space for self-expression as well as create fine and beautiful artworks that will also allow myself to progress and expand on the diversity and skill that I currently hold In the industry.
Furthermore, I have a strong fascination for texture and fine work while enjoying the freedom to design or create an art where these techniques can be applied to complete an art piece.
